The end of Summer 2013

Time to do a bit of catching up again.

A little while back we went on a Wave 105 Big Bus day out which included an open-top bus ride from Christchurch to Sandbanks, over on the ferry and then onto Swanage.  From there we got on the steam train and travelled to Norden, where we had a picnic and then returned the same way.  James came along too and we had a lovely day out.

Mummy did the tae Kwon-Do demo at the Verwood Rustic Fayre.  Daddy couldn't do it for the first time since he started Tae Kwon-Do as he has a poorly knee.
Mummy almost looks scary here!

We have been to Moors Valley a few times too.  Daddy took me on the play trail, around the lake and on the train.
When I hold my winkle like this it usually means I need a tinkle!

Today I went to Moors Valley with Mummy and Daddy and rode my scooter around the lake.  We fed the swans and Daddy found a water vole which we watched for about 5 minutes.

Do you like my funky new haircut?

I have never seen a water vole before

Daddy saw this little water vole and showed it to me.  He said he hasn't seen one for many years as they are rare now.

Early August 2013

Well, its been all go here for me.

I have been to Moors Valley where my Daddy and I found some grumpy swans that I find quite exciting.

On Daddy's day off we went to Honeybrook Farm with my friend Henry.

Then, just when I didn't think it could get better, on Daddy's last day off we went to Southbourne Beach and had a lovely day.  I sat in the water and got my winkle cold and wet which I found very funny.

I was running and digging and splashing.  Then Daddy took me in the big waves with my friendly shark which made me so excited I was shrieking.  Daddy and I got very wet!   We then made a sandcastle village with a wall around it to try and stop the sea washing it away.

I was so excited I didn't notice I was rather cold for a while and Daddy had to give me a big cuddle in a towel to warm up.  I had a nice ice cream too.

Its raining and my new umbrella!

This afternoon Daddy took me to Moors Valley for a run about after I woke from my nap.  It was looking like it was going to rain and we had been thinking about getting me my own umbrella, so we got a fabulous frog one from the shop at the reception.  I didn't have to wait long to test it because it began to rain almost as soon as we started walking.  I was so excited....I love my umbrella.  Daddy said I really was very good at using it as I didn't get wet at all.

After a nice walk we went for a cup of tea and a fruity flapjack.  I ate almost all of it....yum

I had my first go on the zip-wire slide....yeehaa

Catching Up

Here are some photos of things we have been doing recently.  As usual we have been busy and my Daddy has been preparing for  photo exhibition and getting ready for a trip to Iceland, as well as working.

These were taken at nana and Granddad's....they have a lovely garden and I love to play ball games and water the plants.

The next shots were all taken when Mummy and Daddy took me to Paultons Park and Pepper Pig World on 27th June.  This is a wonderful place for munchkins.

My expression on this photo is priceless.  This was a big and rather exciting ride for me.  very fast, very high and a bit wet!

Here is mummy on a roller coaster

T-Rex is very big compared to a munchkin!
