Kingston Lacy with Colin & Jean

Today Daddy took me to Kingston lacy where I met my great uncle Colin and auntie Jean, as well as auntie Sal and JB.

I had a very long walk to the kitchen garden and back.  I saw some big cows with horns, some baby piggies and played on the toy tractors.  We then had a nice lunch before coming home.  I was wasted and fell asleep in the car.

Here are some of Daddy's photos, all taken on the Fuji X-E1 with 35mm f1.4 lens.

My 3rd Birthday....I'm a big boy now!

Wow, I am 3!

After getting up early we all went to Legoland as Mummy and Daddy had some free tickets.  Daddy said he was still trying to restore his reputation as he had to buy 9 copies of "The Sun" newspaper to get them!

We had good weather and a really nice day.  I went on lots of rides and was not scared on any of them.

We met up with quite a few of my friends and their Mums and Dads.  As usual my Mummy took enough food to feed about 100 people so we had a fantastic picnic at lunch time.

After Legoland I was wasted and fell asleep in the car so we didn't open my presents until the next day.  I had several nice Mike the Knight toys to add to my collection and some Playmobil horses.  Thank you for all my lovely things....books, planes, blackboard....I am a lucky boy!

Here are a few photos of my birthday.
Breakfast time at dark o'clock before going to Legoland

Whooaaa....I'm at the back with Mummy in the blue coat

Horses....yes

I'm always smiley where horses are involved

Camels are pretty cool too!

Picnic time

My lovely Mike the Knight cake that Mummy made

My cake was a carrot cake

I loved this....I could pop my head up in the aquarium!

I have a bit to learn about driving....well steering anyway.  I crashed a few times!

The wet play in Duplo Valley was awesome.  I was so excited there

Here is my Red Arrow plane to add to my Vulcan

Here I am getting stuck-in to some serious present opening

The end of Summer 2013

Time to do a bit of catching up again.

A little while back we went on a Wave 105 Big Bus day out which included an open-top bus ride from Christchurch to Sandbanks, over on the ferry and then onto Swanage.  From there we got on the steam train and travelled to Norden, where we had a picnic and then returned the same way.  James came along too and we had a lovely day out.

Mummy did the tae Kwon-Do demo at the Verwood Rustic Fayre.  Daddy couldn't do it for the first time since he started Tae Kwon-Do as he has a poorly knee.
Mummy almost looks scary here!

We have been to Moors Valley a few times too.  Daddy took me on the play trail, around the lake and on the train.
When I hold my winkle like this it usually means I need a tinkle!

Today I went to Moors Valley with Mummy and Daddy and rode my scooter around the lake.  We fed the swans and Daddy found a water vole which we watched for about 5 minutes.

Do you like my funky new haircut?

I have never seen a water vole before

Daddy saw this little water vole and showed it to me.  He said he hasn't seen one for many years as they are rare now.
