Playgroup and the Oceanarium

On his days off my Daddy took me to playgroup and on Tuesday he stayed with me while we made Santa faces.  I loved doing this craft work and was very proud of my finished Santa!  I love my playgroup at Three Legged Cross.  They have toy horses and dinosaurs and teach us lots of things.

On Wednesday Daddy took me and cousin Ollie to the Oceanarium.  It was a very wet day but we had a nice time and had lunch with Daddy afterward.

Ollie was fascinated by the piranhas

I rather like the big catfish from the Amazon

These spiny tailed lizards kept nodding so it was only polite to nod back!

We had Nana & Granddad and Oliver over for dinner on Wednesday which was very nice.

Christmas preparations 2012

Its all getting quite exciting as Christmas is on the way.

Actually I have been a bit ill with a bad cold, nasty cough and raging temperature.  I'm on the mend but still not quite myself.

On friday Daddy took me out to see all the horses at the riding stables in Church Road and it was great because there were riding lessons going on.  Then we went to see my regular friends near the garden centre and then had some lunch at the garden centre.  We went to see my friend the seahorse in the aquarium shop but he has been sold!!

Mummy got me a Pepper Pig advent calendar and I have really got the idea now.  I get very excited every day finding the correct number and getting a little chocolate out!

Last night Daddy got all the stuff for the Christmas tree in from the garage and today Mummy put it up while Daddy took me to playgroup and for an exciting expedition to Morrisons.

It actually got reasonably warm in the conservatory later so I had lunch there and played with my toys that I haven't seen in a while, because its normally too cold to eat there.

I was very excited to find that the mini tree which we have in the conservatory, has little wooden decorations and some are horses.  I had to keep taking them off, holding them and putting them back.

Later I helped my Daddy wash the cars as they were sooooo dirty!

A grading and a new horse!

I was a monster last night at Nana and Granddad's house and Daddy had to phone up and apologise.  Sorry, I was so over tired.  Poor Nana and Granddad need a break from me.  I was very good today even though I had no sleep in the day.

Today my cousin James did his Tae Kwon-Do red stripe grading at Burgate.  Daddy took him this morning as Daddy does some organising and theory questions now he is a black belt.  It was ever so cold and frosty this morning.

It was ever so cold in the hall...not much above freezing and after over 3 hours everyone was frozen!

Mummy took me to a baby sale in Verwood and I got obsessed by a pink unicorn, which we had to buy.  Daddy says he is a bit concerned by the colour!  This replaces my reindeer that I have had for a long time now.

Here is some set sparring
Daddy took some photos of James doing his grading.
Here James is doing a front snap kick

This is free sparring...armour on and go for it!  James is at right

James is doing a big kick at right

James is fighting someone bigger here!

Waiting for theory questions

Here is James being asked his questions...the man with glasses at the top table is Master Dew, the examiner
When Daddy and James got back we all had a lunch that Mummy cooked and as we needed warming up so much, Daddy made a lovely fire in our wood burner so we could warm our toes.

This is me playing with action man and my pink unicorn horse is in the background

Here is our lovely fire

Here I am looking a bit whacked after another busy day.

Visiting my horse friends

After the wet weather we have had I went to check on my horsey friends today when Daddy picked me up from playgroup.  We had a very long walk as it was a nice day but very cold.

The little horses that were in the flooded field had been moved and I didn't see them but the big horse and little Shetland pony were there in the opposite field.  The big horse usually comes to say hello and likes having his nose rubbed but the little one stays away.  I actually know most of the local horses very well as I have a bit of a fixation with horses.

I did a lot of running up the lane and jumping in the mud.  When the horsey nuzzled me I thought it was trying to eat my hair and I looked rather worried!

Sunday with my Daddy

Today I got up early and had breakfast with Daddy.  We then went to look at our sunflowers and played in the conservatory.  Daddy wanted to take some photos as he hasn't taken any for a while and I'm growing so fast its scary!  All taken at f1.8 on a Nikon 35mm lens

Today was a special sunday because we went to a church service in Verwood where the Mums and Dads went to say thanks to the nice people who ran our playgroup on Tuesdays.  They are retiring after running the group at the United Reformed Church for 30 years...wow!

The church service lasted an hour and I was very good indeed.  Churches are interesting for a while but the talking is quite heavy and Daddy didn't understand all of it!  The congregation loved having us munchkins there but one by one they got fed up and had to be taken out...I lasted until the end and lots of people came up to me to say how good I was.  They don't have to sleep with me...haaaa!  I even got invited back for a Christmas munchkin service.

Rosemary, Tony and their helpers were very grateful for the thanks and gifts we gave them.

After that we went to the church hall where the playgroup was for tea and cakes.  I immediately found the rocking horse I used to play on...wow I miss it!

I helped myself to a biscuit and ran around like crazy while I ate it.

Flowers, a hamper and a gift plaque with a rhyme for Tony and Rosemary

After that it was action at the playground

And finally a coffee and lunch with Daddy at Costa.
