Theo is a fit and strong young man and when weighed today he had started to gain weight. He is certainly feeding very well now but his sleeping habits and patterns are a bit chaotic to say the least! We were up all night with him on thursday night but caught a couple of hours sleep in the morning when he eventually crashed out. He seems to be largely nocturnal at the present time, which apparently is quite common in new-borns. I have just taken my paternity leave which gives me another week off to help Gabi and try and establish a routine for the little man. Its lovely to see him catching eye contact now and being stimulated by what is going on around him. Uncle M brought a CD of children's music with him, which Theo really seems to like and which helped settle him at 3am this morning!
