Today Daddy took me swimming and we had great fun playing with all the toys and floats. He whizzed me around on a frog-shaped foamie board and I even went underwater a few times.
Later we went to Moors Valley as Daddy had found a special Tree Top Walk that we hadn't been to before. It was amazing fun and I loved it so much I could have spent all day there. The best thing was picking up pine needles and posting them through the fencing! I got really quite grubby but I was wearing my special blue over suit.
I walked a very long way in the park and I still wasn't worn out when we got home.

Sunday Stroll at Badbury Rings
Making the best of some gorgeous weather, we went for a walk at Badbury Rings and in the nearby wood where the bluebells, violets and primroses are displaying nicely. Some early butterflies were about...it was a speckled wood by the way!

Visit to Nana & Granddad
On Monday Daddy took me swimming in the morning and at lunchtime we went to visit Nana and Granddad.
It was a lovely sunny day and I ran about in their big, big garden. Granddad showed me how to dip the pond and found me some newts and a water boatman. Granddad found a plant that some big buzzy bees were visiting and I was fascinated by them. I actually tried to touch one. There are bees in lots of my books but I hadn't seen a real one this close before.
I had a lovely time and was so tired when we went home that I fell asleep in the car after a few hundred meters.
Here are some shots from the day taken on Daddy's little Fuji X10 camera.

Lovely March Sunday
It was a fab day again and in the morning I was at home helping Daddy hoover the house and then did some work in the garden. We cleared some old plants away and raked weed and leaves from the pond. I am ready for garden action now as I have a little set of garden tools. I run outside at every opportunity now as I love it so much.
We went to Kingston Lacy in the afternoon and I went crazy, running around the grounds, chasing dogs and children and falling in the leaves. I saw an old lady in an invalid scooter that had a football that looked exactly the same as mine. Everyone thought it was very funny when I ran over and grabbed it off her moving scooter....well I thought it was mine! Mummy and Daddy were impressed how observant I had been to see the ball on the undersea rack as the scooter went past! I did get a bit cross when I had to hand it back. I was very good and walked a long way.

Mummy's Birthday 2012
Today was Mummy's birthday and it was great because I got some new books she bought me from TKMax yesterday!
Well, Mummy did ok because she got a card from me and a nice little tote bag which folds up tiny in its own case. Daddy got her a lovely Le Creuset steel pan.
We all went to Horton in the morning as there are hundreds of sheep with all their small lambs in the fields near the tower. I made lots of my animal noises and was quite fascinated but I don't understand why sheep run away when you try to say hello to them.
We then went to Parkstone and had a lovely Italian meal there in a restaurant recommended by Mummy's Italian night school friends. It was yum and I should know because I kept eating Mummy's pasta. The portions were very big too and we were all full. I got a bit bored after about 1 1/2 hours and had to be let out of my chair. I went to the window to watch the motor cars go by. I then had a poopy doopy which hard to be changed so I didn't scare the other customers away!
Then we went to Honeybrook Farm. It was a lovely sunny afternoon. It only cost £5 to go in and the people were very nice. As soon as we went in, Mummy and Daddy took their eye off the ball for a nanosecond and I stood in a big puddle in my shoes and nice jeans...oh dear! It was fun but Mummy had to go to the car and get my wellies! A farmer showed us children all the animals and we got to pet some of them. There were piggies with babies, donkeys, cows, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, horses, a rabbit, ferret, cat and dog. I was very excited by it all and a bit worried to be honest when the cows or donkeys came too close as they are loud and very big. I found some stones to play with and before leaving I went in the playhouses. I absolutely loved it there and want to go again as much as possible!
I was running on overdrive as I only slept for a few minutes in the car and was up at six o' clock this morning. Mummy then went to work and Daddy gave me a bath. After only about 20 minutes of jumping about and laying on Daddy I fell asleep!
It was a fabulous day. Daddy says I must be a proper boy as I stamp on sheep poopy doopy, jump in puddles and chase ducks!
