A last post about Lanzarote

We had a lovely holiday in Lanzarote and got home safely.

Here are a few more photos that Daddy worked on when we got back.

Here I am around the pool at the end of the day...it was cooler then

I took my Mr Men ball to play with

I fell over a few times in the water early on but was very sure footed later and was happy climbing in and out of the pool by myself too

I borrowed all kinds of floating toys which were great fun

Our room was where the wooden balcony is directly above the two central palm trees

A funny green lagoon on the Volcanic coast

Tis clown fish toy was great fun and Daddy pushed me around the pool for ages in it

It was even good fun on dry land

The nice Papagayo beaches

A 120 degree panorama from our balcony

I was a monkey climbing on the balcony rails

Here I am walking around the pool with my Dad

Our room with a view

Here are some snaps from the balcony

Lovely day at the beach

Today is a lovely sunny day with blue skies and hot but not too hot.

Daddy carried me on the Tenko trail from the hotel to the lovely beach at Papagayo. I played in the sand and paddled in the sea. Daddy said there were some interesting things around but personally the sandcastles and throwing stones did it for me. Daddy dug me a big hole and made some sandcastles which got washed away when the tide came in.

More action in Lanzarote

Well it's been very exciting here for the last couple of days.

Yesterday it turned much cooler, especially in the afternoon when it was also very windy. Today was hot again but rather cloudy later.

Yesterday we went on a real submarine. I had to sit on a bus for quite a while before, so I wanted to run about and got just a bit grumpy until fish started showing outside. I got rather excited then and was waving at the fish. Daddy was quite interested as we dived to 34 metres then spent a while on the bottom at 29 metres. It got very exciting when a diver showed up outside and a big stingray came to be fed.....it was huge, much bigger than me! I have done some very nice things even though I'm not even 2!

Last night I went to the children's party and got rather overexcited and crazy. I started to take lots of chairs onto the stage and then started stage diving off the steps. Mummy and Daddy had to take control of me after a while so I didn't get hurt, but I just seem to bounce.

Today we went to the Rancho Texas park where I saw lots of animals. I was already super tired from charging about and I was a monkey in the bird of prey show. The lady told everyone to stay seated as huge birds flew low over us but I just wanted to run around and made a dash for a pond on the grass area where no one is allowed to go......Daddy had to do an emergency sprint and grab and then Mummy took me away for some milk.

I saw some huge moos that Daddy said were bison and I mooed at them. I did laugh when one did a big super poopa dooper.

I loved the miniature horses, tortoises, armadillos, tiger and then had a nap, but I woke up to see the seal show. I had a lovely play with Daddy in the pool when we got back and we walked along the prom until I fell asleep. I was super tired.

Here I am waiting to be collected by the bus to go in the submarine
This is me under the water in a submarine!

More from baking Lanzarote

Hello everyone.

We are all still very hot in Lanzarote.

Yesterday Daddy went to the volcanoes in Timanfaya National Park as he didn't think it was hot enough at the hotel! Later we walked to the marina when it was dark.

It was 39 Celsius today but we were brave and walked to the Rubicon Marina so Mummy could visit the market. After that we continued on to Playa Dorado and beyond. It was seriously hot after the market and we got the bus back rather than walk the whole way again.

Here are some photos:

Papayagayo Arena, Lanzarote

Hello all,We had a good flight and a decent journey to get here. I was very good the whole way. I got a bit cross when the captain of the aeroplane told us to put our seatbelts on for landing and I was in the middle of socialising with another munchkin behind, but I soon got distracted by he interesting view from the window.I have been so excited I just run and run, calling out and shouting. We have a nice room with a big, big bed so I can sleep with Mummy and Daddy....yay!I am trying all kinds of food and had a slice of pizza with some other nibbles at lunch today.

Trying to blog is a bit of an exercise in frustration but Daddy has managed to fudge it by using an iPod app that allows him to upload photos direct. He apologises if the size or layout of photos isn't ideal. My Dad does ok with computers and stuff but he comes from a time when there were real machines so he isn't the best!

New Car (again!)

Daddy went all the way up to Derby on Tuesday to get Mummy a new car. Well, it's not totally new but it's the second newest car he has ever bought as its from September 2011 and only had 5452 miles on it before he drove it home. This means I don't have to rely on Daddy to take me to my playgroups, so when he is at work Mummy can take me...yay!

I think Mummy is doing quite well here as she has had 2 nice cars in just over 2 years and Daddy has a car that is nearly 10 years old, which is much older than me! Daddy says she better be careful with this one.

It's very nice and really similar to the last one, except its slightly face lifted and is silver instead of blue. I like the i10. I will miss the old one as I used to travel in it a lot and it brought me home from hospital when I was new.

I took the new i10 for a quick test drive when Daddy got home and blasted the horn when daddy as at the front of the car.  He said his ears were ringing!
