Farmer Palmer's again!

Its been a bit of a few weeks not having a second car, so Daddy has taken me to some of my playgroups before work this week.

He has ordered Mummy another Hyundai i10 to replace our nice little car that got crashed.  I miss Mummy's car.  When I play with a toy car now I sometimes turn it over and say "boof" to show it has crashed!  Daddy should collect it on 1st May.  Its a slightly revised model of the same specification and is silver rather than blue.

Anyway, I was so lucky because I got taken to Farmer Palmer's again today.

All the animals were still there but the piggies have grown up a bit.  Today I had a tractor ride too and it was very bumpy.  I held a guinea pig, fed the goats, petted the piggies, a donkey, a cow and a horse.  I fed some chickens too.  I was a bit confused when a goat with 6 legs and 2 heads went past!  Daddy said it would be even harder to explain that when I was older.

Anyway, here are the photos!

This big turkey was chasing a lady turkey and looked a bit cross with us

This is the huge Daddy piggy of the baby ones.  He has big teeth that stick out

I was a monkey throwing straw about in the straw barn

Playing with Mummy's hair is fun too!

This is what I do when I see an aeroplane

Here I am on the tractor ride

I loved feeding the chickens but they did peck my fingers a bit

Mummy and Daddy had a cup of tea while I raced about on a tractor

I wore the piggies out again and they went to sleep

Here I am with a friendly piggy rubbing himself on the step

The pony made me jump when it snorted but I was so curious I had to keep going back

Farmer Palmer's in the Easter Holiday

Mummy has wanted to take me to Farmer Palmer's near Organford, Wareham for a while now and Daddy took us all there today.

What a great place!  I was in my element all day.  They had a big barn full of interesting farm animals and pets in lovely clean straw.  At different times they let me hold a guinea pig, pet some baby piggies, bottle feed some baby goats and pet some lambs.  The piggies were awesome...so friendly, but their mummy was huge and quite ugly, but I wasn't scared of her.  I was a bit wary of the ponies and the calves when they came to close though!

I also got to ride on some toy tractors and play on slides in the straw barn.  We had a nice lunch in the cafe too.  It was very busy so there wee lots of children to play with.

One of my favourite things was a sheep in the outside pens, whom I definitely made friends with.  I was picking grass and feeding it to him through the fence and he ate straight out of my hand.  I did that for ages and he even reached over the top of the fence to get to me.

I was very excited and running flat out from just after 10am when we got there to about 3.30pm when we left.  Therefore I fell asleep ins seconds in Daddy's car on the way home.

This is mummy piggy and she is huge

The baby piggies are more my size

After playing with us they must have been tired as they all went to sleep

The goats nibbled Daddy's shorts and the plastic bag!

I'm a clean boy and washed my hands all by myself after petting the animals

This is my super friendly sheep

I really have the hang of this feeding!

I know a donkey lives here!

Rainy Easter Monday!

Dear me, it rained and it rained and it rained today!

Never mind, I watched Mummy doing lot of cooking, then I had some books and then Daddy took me for a walk in the pushchair round to the corner shop and the Garden Centre.

When I came back I was asleep, but after waking up I had more books and Mummy and Daddy got very excited because I pointed to the tractor in my book and said the word over an over...it sounded a bit like "dacdor'.  I think I will be starting to talk before long as I'm very vocal and am trying to say words all the time.

I watched the birds on the feeder in the back garden and Daddy took me for a walk and play outside.  It was raining so we were quite wet when we came in.

I point at things in my books and make animal noises

I stayed still enough while watching the birds so that Daddy could take a shot on his manual focus 100mm lens at f2...that's a wide aperture!

Its about time my favourite mealtime playmates appeared on my blog.  Elephant and Piggy Baby Wheels.

Mummy made some yum cake and I ate a big piece as well of lots of fruit and other snacks today.

I don't like getting sticky or dirty hands so call out until I get them wiped.

Good Friday 2012

Today we stayed at home most of the day as it was a lovely sunny day and a few things needed doing at home.

I went out to play football, ride on my scooter and play in my car with Daddy, then helped Mummy with some potting.

After I had a sleep we went to Nana and Granddad's house and I had a lovely time.  Granddad read me lots of books and I made some cow and cat noises when I had the animal books.  I say "dog" now as well, though there isn't much of a "g"sound at the end...I'm working on that one!  When I see a crab I can do clickety-click hands too!

Mummy and Daddy had a lovely meal and Auntie S and JB got me a funky swimming frog for my bath time.....thankyou so much.

Daddy says the Zeiss 35mm f1.4 lens that he took the indoor shots at Nana and Granddad's on, is a god among lenses!!

I learned how to water flowers

Oops, the heads of these flowers come off easily!

Big step for a little boy...I'm already putting my cap on the wrong way around like a teenager
